I can see it in their faces: the Final Four are suffering from the serious head screw that is caused when eliminated contestants return to the game. As Emazon said, someone’s muscled in on their turf and they don’t like it one little bit. But I’m glad the training session with her brought out their fighting spirit. They're going to have to fight, fight, fight for their place in Finale.
When I was able to get past the spook factor, having the eliminated contestants back in the game really fired me up. Not only did the situation make me realise, “OMG! I am Final Four! I have survived to the end part of the game,” it made me dig my heels in and recognise just how much I wanted to be a part of this journey all the way to the end. My food was sorted, my training was under control so, for the first time, I started to focus solely on the game.
Cam, Sammy, Tiff and Julie have to urgently switch their mindsets if they’re going to be contenders all the way to the end. This game has entered the mental stage and it’s the way the contestants play it with their minds that will make the difference come the wildcard weigh-in.
That said, my heart bled for Ben getting the ‘booby prize’ at last night’s temptation. He’s worked hard at home and has put into action everything he’s learned at the Camp, so it’s sad that he’s suffered the fate of instant elimination so early in the week.
And poor Andrew having to eat five chocolate crackles! After getting your diet right and living on such healthy food, that sort of rubbish makes you feel sick, literally. He's also got some serious energy burning to do being up 900 calories.
I am looking forward to seeing which of the eliminated contestants will be left standing after tonight’s challenge. Contenders such as Sharif, Sean and Teresa are not only strong but they have something to prove so expect them to be fierce opponents.
Be sure to tune in tonight at 7PM on TEN and check your inbox in the morning for my daily update.
