Sharif and Stewart are back in black and taking the fight to the Final Four. After winning the wildcard weigh-in with some of the biggest numbers seen at this point in the game, they will be a force to be reckoned with let me tell you!
A big shout-out to Sharif for not only being The Biggest Loser of the week but for having the biggest weekly weight loss known to the competition – 11.4kg or 8.83% is truly amazing. Having now lost 60.6kg or 33.99% of his body weight, he’s only striking distance (a bag of potatoes!) from the 37.58% that Adro lost to win Series 1.
This year’s contestants have really set the bar a lot higher in terms of weight loss, and I think the upcoming Finale is going to be one of the best to remember.
That said, I am curious to know the origin of the animosity surrounding Stewart. Yes, he is a genuine dark horse; yes, he has been out of the game for quite some time; and yes, he wants the money but to not applaud his fantastic loss of 8.5kg or 8.49%, well, something’s going on. I will have to try to get some goss…
My heart went out to Sean last night for being disappointed with his weight loss of 0.6kg which wasn’t enough to get him back in the competition. I know he is devastated that his journey has come to an end, but the reality is that he has achieved so much and looking at him now, it’s hard to believe that he was ever overweight. He just looks like an extremely fit ‘dead sexy’ thing. It’s almost impossible to pull big numbers being so close to your goal weight, so he has to instead focus on the positives and congratulate himself for everything he’s achieved to date.
I also felt for Jodi who sacrificed being at her son’s first birthday to take part in the wildcard weigh-in. I know how heartbreaking these decisions are because I missed my daughter’s birthday too, but the gifts of health and wellness that Jodi is taking home to her children will make up for her absence in the long run.
Speaking of long run, doesn’t it seem like Nathan and Bob have been stuck on Fitzroy Island forever? I want to know when are they coming back to the Camp? When are they shaving their beards off? I guess we’ll have to wait and see…
I’ll also be interested to see the outcome of tonight’s elimination. The alliance should have seen it coming – at some point they would have to start voting against themselves. Sammy is extremely vulnerable in possession of the Double bracelet, but I expect Julie to receive some ‘pay back’ votes especially from Sharif.

Below I've shared the 'insane' (Bob's words not mine) workout that Commando subjected Bob and Nathan to – fill two oil drums with sea water using jerry cans with holes in them! Now, that man's a gluten for punishment – the pain starts about 1:45 minutes into the segment.
